CHARITIES & FOUNDATIONS

The Louisville Scottish Rite Foundation funds the operation of our Children’s Language Development Program for preschoolers diagnosed as having a treatable language disorder.

The Kids Center for Pediatric Therapy administers our program. The program goal is to provide 2-5 year olds the skills necessary to permit them to enter regular school when treatment is complete.

The Foundation was established in 1985 for the prime purpose of providing the language program to area children in need of such services. Therapy is provided on a sliding scale fee system for those able to pay and is provided free to those who cannot. No one is turned away for financial reasons. The program has been an unqualified success.
